“The Hill of Crosses – Spiritual Journey”
On the way to The Hill of Crosses we have visited MŪŠIA (A. SVARINSKAS) PARK , which was dedicated to the partisans, who were fighting against Soviet Occupation. Monsignor Alfonsas Svarinskas, who initiated the establishment of the park, was sent twice in Siberian camps and he has survived – such an amazing man of God ! The Hill of Crosses itself has very spiritual and mystical atmosphere. Although the weather was windy, it was very quiet in front of Virgin Mary statue. The guide Inga is an excellent story teller !
